The Transactions page in Paysight provides a detailed breakdown of various transaction types, helping you manage orders, subscriptions, refunds, and more. Below is a description of each transaction type available on this page.
Transaction Types
The status returned when a customer subscribes to a subscription-based product or service but the billing cycle has not started.
The first charge for a new subscription. It marks the beginning of the customer’s billing cycle after their opt-in period.
Subsequent subscription billings after the initial charge. This status is applied every time the customer is billed at the start of a new billing cycle (e.g., monthly or annually).
Non-subscription purchases, like one-time orders for products or services. This indicates a successful order has been placed and paid for.
This status applies when an order or subscription has been refunded. Any time an order or subscription transaction is reversed, either partially or fully, this status will appear to reflect the refund.
This status indicates that a chargeback has been raised for a transaction, and an alert has been triggered via systems like Ethoca or Rapid Dispute Resolution (RDR). A chargeback occurs when a customer disputes a charge. This status helps you stay informed about disputes raised on specific transactions and provides an alert for any chargeback activity.
By understanding these transaction types, you can effectively track and manage your customers’ purchases, subscriptions, and billing activity. These statuses provide clarity on the current state of each transaction, whether it’s a pending subscription, a completed order, or a refund.
