How it works
Most values in this module are reference fields because they are tied to Shopify connection, DNS, and onboarding. Regional settings control the store currency and can optionally show converted prices to shoppers while keeping the actual charge in the store and MID currency.Settings reference
Store name
Store name
You will set: Text fieldThe store name shown in Paysight system surfaces. This can be more operational than the customer-facing brand name, which lives in Brand & Support.Example: Use
Acme UK Checkout internally while Brand & Support shows Acme to customers.Shop identifier
Shop identifier
You will set: Read-only valueThe unique Shopify store identifier connected to this checkout. It is shown for reference and should match the Shopify store you expect.Note: If this value looks wrong, ask Paysight support to review the Shopify connection rather than changing checkout content.
Owner email
Owner email
You will set: Read-only emailThe owner or account email saved on the store record. Use it to confirm account ownership context.
Primary domain
Primary domain
You will set: Read-only domainThe primary domain used for checkout traffic. This is tied to DNS and routing setup.
Shopify URL
Shopify URL
You will set: Read-only domainThe connected myshopify.com domain used for Shopify integration calls.
Root domain
Root domain
You will set: Read-only domainThe root domain used for DNS and routing checks.
Country
Country
You will set: Country selectorThe store country used for regional defaults and reporting. It does not restrict where customers can check out; use Checkout Content and Shipping for customer country behavior.
Currency
Currency
You will set: Currency selectorThe store currency used for checkout prices and reporting. Confirm this before launch because it affects customer-facing totals.
Show prices in shopper's local currency
Show prices in shopper's local currency
You will set: On/off switchConverts displayed cart and checkout prices using the shopper’s selected country. This is a display-only conversion: the payment is still processed in the store and MID currency.Note: Enabling this setting defaults Price rounding to Round prices up after currency conversion and turns on the store-currency billing notice.
Price rounding
Price rounding
You will set: Rounding optionChoose whether converted display prices round up to the next whole number or remain unrounded. Rounding changes only the converted amount customers see; it does not change the amount charged.
Show store-currency billing notice
Show store-currency billing notice
You will set: On/off switchShows a cart notice that tells shoppers they will be billed in the store currency rather than the converted display currency. Keep this enabled when local-currency display is active so the final charge is clear.
